2. How do online physiotherapy or sports therapy sessions work?

Our therapists evaluate your condition and provide targeted treatment, ensuring you recover safely and effectively without needing to travel to a clinic.

5.What is the difference in doing online vs in person/house follow up sessions for physiotherapy and sports therapy ?

For an in house session in person the therapist's treatment session will involve a combination of hands on manual treatment which will include manipulative and mobilization techniques to help guide bones back to original position, massages and other techniques that involve reducing muscle tightness and rehabilitation exercises/stretches.  Whereas online sessions will be focusing on rehabilitation exercises/stretches. More specifically the therapist will review with the patient the exercises and stretches they were given previously and see how frequently the patient has been doing the exercises, if there's any exercises that are causing the patient any issues or pain and if the patient is doing the exercise with the right form. Also depending on the patient's performance of the exercise, if appropriate the therapist will modify or progress the patient's exercise program (whether online or in person).

6. Can the initial consultation/evaluation be done online ?

It can be conducted online however it is recommended that at least the initial consultation be in person since it will allow the therapist to more accurately diagnose the injury or pain as some tests can only be done in person.
